Welcome. This page explains how a visit works if you are travelling in Japan or living here as a non-Japanese speaker.
Where we are
Gifu City is 30 minutes by express train from Nagoya (Meitetsu Line, about ¥600) and on the way to Takayama and Shirakawa-go. The clinic is a 2-minute walk from Meitetsu Gifu Station, on the 4th floor of the Compal Building. → Access
Language
- Our doctor and staff speak Japanese. During your visit we use translation apps (voice and text) so you can ask anything in English. Please allow a little extra time for this.
- Before your visit, you can message us in English on LINE. We reply in English.
How a visit works
- Contact us on LINE or via the contact form. Tell us your travel dates, what you are interested in, and any medical conditions or medications.
- We confirm a date and time for a free consultation. Weekday evening slots (until 23:00) are available; please book at least one day ahead.
- Consultation (about 15–30 minutes). The doctor examines you, explains suitable options, risks and downtime, and gives a total price in yen.
- Treatment — on the same day when possible, or on another day during your stay. Some treatments need a second visit (see below).
- Aftercare. The doctor explains aftercare at the clinic (via translation app). If anything worries you after you leave Japan, message us on LINE.
Which treatments suit a short stay?
Usually fine during a trip (little or no downtime): Botox, hyaluronic acid filler, skin boosters (Skinvive, Juvelook, Jalupro, Plureal), Thermagen EVO radio-frequency tightening, KO laser toning, exosome and vitamin IV drips, laser hair removal (single session), AGA injections.
Plan around a few days of redness or scabbing: KO laser spot treatment for pigmentation, mole and wart removal, KO fractional laser, subcision for acne scars, chemical peels.
Needs a follow-up visit — please check your schedule first: thread lifts, double-eyelid surgery, under-eye bag removal (lower-eyelid fat removal), brow-lift procedures. These involve a post-operative check. If you cannot return for it, we may advise against the procedure.
The doctor decides what is appropriate at the consultation. We do not perform a treatment if we think it is not suitable for you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pay in US dollars / euros / RMB? No. Yen only, in cash or by card.
Is the clinic easy to find? Leave Meitetsu Gifu Station by the north exit; the Compal Building is 2 minutes on foot. Take the lift to the 4th floor. The building entrance is open in the evening.
What if I have a problem after returning home? Message us on LINE with photos. We will advise you and, if needed, help you find care locally.
